Tools : Maya, Fusion, Photoshop, Vegas (editing).
Info: This was a fun challenge. The supllied footage was an image of a biker and the excercise was to make a ghost rider type rider out of it. I chose to try and make an existing shot from the movie.
I modeled, textured and animated the rider with the bike in Maya. For the fire I used a combination of syflex cloth simulation and some more compositing work.
Rendered with mental ray.
